The Russian poet Anna Glazova will read from her work in a special Davis Center Literature and Culture Seminar, co‐sponsored by the Harvard Slavic Department.

Russian poet Anna Glazova has published five books of poetry, most recently Zemlia lezhit na zemle (2017). She has translated extensively from German, mostly poetry but also some prose, including a book of translations of the poetry of Paul Celan (2012). She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University, and has written about Russian and German poetry, with special attention to Celan, Mandelstam, Dragomoshchenko, Kafka, and Walter Benjamin. She co‐edited a volume on Messianic Thought Outside Theology (2014).
