DESCRIPTION:<p>	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="9b96103c-aecd-4616-a82f-30f7e9755ce5" alt="Poetry Reading Poster"></drupal-media></p><p>	<em>Note: This reading will be delivered in Russian.</em></p><p>	The Russian poet Anna Glazova will read from her work in a special Davis Center Literature and Culture Seminar, co‐sponsored by the Harvard Slavic Department.</p><p>	Russian poet <strong>Anna Glazova</strong> has published five books of poetry, most recently <em>Zemlia lezhit na zemle</em> (2017). She has translated extensively from German, mostly poetry but also some prose, including a book of translations of the poetry of Paul Celan (2012). She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University, and has written about Russian and German poetry, with special attention to Celan, Mandelstam, Dragomoshchenko, Kafka, and Walter Benjamin.
