Sofiya Boroday
Ph.D. candidate in Slavic Languages and Literatures
Sofiya received a joint BA/MA in linguistics and digital humanities from the University of Chicago in 2021. While there, she served as artistic director for UBallet, the university's student-run ballet company. Currently a G3, her research interests include non- and semi-professional artistic practices, ballet history, and the mediation of individual and social identity by the arts and the state.
