Brett Donohoe received his B.A in linguistics and Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies at the University of Texas in 2016 and his M.A. in Slavic linguistics from Indiana University in 2018. He has studied and worked in Moscow at the Higher School of Economics. He has also taught Russian at the elementary and intermediate levels at Indiana’s Summer Language Workshop.

His academic interests include Slavic modernisms, Russian lyric poetry, the Yugoslav avant-garde, and feminist and queer readings of Russian, Ukrainian, and Serbian literature. He is particularly interested in the early 20th century in Slavic culture and literature.
