The Slavic Department is pleased to welcome our new Preceptor (Ukrainian langage program), Nataliya Shpylova-Saeed. Dr. Shpylova-Saeed is interested in memory studies, particularly in contested memory with a focus on Ukraine and Russia. Before completing a Ph.D. in Slavic studies, she received a Ph.D. in American literature. She has taught language courses at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University, University of Maine, Indiana University, and Colgate University. Please join us in welcoming Nataliya to Harvard!
