On April 19, students of all levels of Russian gathered in the Thompson Room to celebrate the 2016 Year of Film in the Russian Federation. Students recited poetry and sang along to songs from iconic films, played musical instruments, and ate delicious Russian food. 

Graduate Student Sarah Vitali took the photos of the event and Gleb Sidorkin put together an interactive media setup that allowed students, faculty, and guests to sing along karaoke-style.

This event was coordinated by Oksana Willis with help and support of instructors in the Slavic Languages Program.
