Warmest congratulations to Professor Justin Weir, who has been awarded the Alpha Iota Prize for Excellence in Teaching by the undergraduate Marshals of the Massachusetts chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. This prestigious teaching award goes to just three Harvard faculty each year and represents superior teaching as recognized by student nominations. It reflects his ability to reach across the disciplines to bring his love for literature to students from all different fields, both in General Education and in Department courses, and the many hours he spends speaking with his undergraduate students about their work and interests.
