College Fellow Oleh Kotsyuba Wins David Sloane Memorial Prize

College Fellow Oleh Kotsyuba

Congratulations to Oleh Kotsyuba for winning the David Sloane Memorial Prize as a promising young scholar and teacher in the field of Russian literature. The prize is awarded by the Setchkarev Memorial Prize Committee in honor of David Sloane, a former member of the committee and a professor of Russian at Tufts University.

As College Fellow in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University in 2015-2016, Dr. Kotsyuba exhibited great enthusiasm in his teaching and outreach efforts. His engaging rapport with students in the classroom and at advising events has distinguished him as a valuable addition to the faculty of the Department. Dr. Kotsyuba is richly deserving of the David Sloane Memorial Prize.

Dr. Kotsyuba received his prize at the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures' Spring Reception on May 12, 2016.
