Congratulations to Dr. Zalaltdinova and Dr. Pastushenkov on being awarded a Provostial grant!

We are pleased to announce that the Committee for the Provostial Fund for the Arts and Humanities has awarded a grant to Dr. Liya Zalaltdinova and Dr. Dmitrii Pastushenkov, Preceptors in the Russian Language Program. This grant will support a symposium for language educators focused on exploring foreign language assessment in Russian and other Slavic languages. The initiative for this symposium is inspired by the forthcoming Routledge volume co-edited by Drs. Zalaltdinova and Pastushenkov, which examines assessment practices in Russian language instruction. The symposium is scheduled for April 2025, with further details to follow.
