The two-day Symposium at Harvard University will bring together Russian language program directors, Slavic department chairs and graduate program directors to discuss the current state of the field of preparing graduate teaching fellows. Participants will discuss curricular and programmatic challenges and outline possible directions for supporting graduate students engaged in teaching the Russian language and culture across the United States.

The Symposium is organized by the Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures at Harvard University and the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Southern California. It is funded by the Provostial Grant for the Arts and Humanities, Harvard University.
