Czech Play. Karel Čapek: The Makropulos Case

For the first time in Slavic Department's history, the graduate and Czech B students are teaming up for the melodramatic performance of The Makropulos Case, an immortal play by Karel Čapek. In addition, other Czech students and enthusiasts will be reading theatrical pieces by Václav Havel to mark what would be his 80th birthday earlier this Fall. Come for the Case, stay for the cake!
