He has studied and worked in Moscow at the Higher School of Economics. He has also taught Russian at the elementary and intermediate levels at Indiana’s Summer Language Workshop. His academic interests include Slavic modernisms, Russian lyric poetry, the Yugoslav avant-garde, and feminist and queer readings of Russian, Ukrainian, and Serbian literature.
