Congratulations to [Dr. Veronika Tuckerova,](https://veronika-tuckerova.faculty.slavic.fas.harvard.edu/) Senior Preceptor in Slavic Languages and Literatures (Czech) on receiving an honorable mention for the prestigious [Otokar Fischer Prize](https://otokar-fischer.eu/cz) for her recent Czech book, [*Bedekr Kafka*](https://www.revolverrevue.cz/product/461-bedekr-kafka). The Otokar Fischer Prize is awarded to outstanding books in Czech-German studies. *Bedekr Kafka* examines the interplay of politics and aesthetics in the reception of Kafka during the Communist period in Czechoslovakia. The award was issued on May 18 in Prague's Goethe Institute.

We are tremendously proud of Veronika for this wonderful achievement.
