Congratulations to [Dr. Dmitrii Pastushenkov](https://slavic.fas.harvard.edu/people/dmitrii-pastushenkov), Preceptor in Slavic Languages and Literatures, [Dr. Steven Clancy](https://steven-clancy.faculty.slavic.fas.harvard.edu), Senior Lecturer in Slavic Languages and Literatures and Director of the Language Program, and their colleague [Olesia Pavlenko](https://sites.google.com/view/olesiapavlenko/bio), a Ph.D. student in Education at the University of New Hampshire, on their open-access publication in *Language Learning & Technology (LLT)*.

[The article](https://www.lltjournal.org/item/10125-73610/) focuses on the beginner ***LearningRussian*** course on the Kahoot platform, which has been played by over **50,000 learners** as of summer 2025. [*Visualizing Russian*](https://visualizingrussian.fas.harvard.edu/), developed by Dr. Clancy, played a crucial role in shaping the course.

At this stage, the course includes over 500 of the most frequent Russian words and offers more than 50 quizzes centered on topics commonly taught in first-year Russian language courses.

To access the course, learners and teachers can use the following link: <https://bit.ly/3PdoDcB> or scan the QR code below:
