We are pleased to announce that the Committee for the Provostial Fund for the Arts and Humanities has awarded a grant to [Dr. Liya Zalaltdinova](https://slavic.fas.harvard.edu/people/liya-zalaltdinova) and [Dr. Dmitrii Pastushenkov](https://slavic.fas.harvard.edu/people/dmitrii-pastushenkov), Preceptors in the Russian Language Program. This grant will support a symposium for language educators focused on exploring foreign language assessment in Russian and other Slavic languages. The initiative for this symposium is inspired by the forthcoming Routledge volume co-edited by Drs. Zalaltdinova and Pastushenkov, which examines assessment practices in Russian language instruction.
