The Department Slavic Languages and Literatures congratulates Emily S. Van Buskirk, PhD 2008, who was recently awarded the Board of Trustees Fellowship for Scholarly Excellence by Rutgers University in recognition of her groundbreaking work in Slavic literary studies, which has transformed understanding of the important Russian writer Lydia Ginsburg and the times in which she lived.
